Welcome to McKissack Professional Development School

Welcome to McKissack Professional Development School where effective teachers challenge each student to reach their full potential! Through our work as a Professional Development School, we model effective teaching practices and strive to provide the very best educational experiences for our students and teachers of tomorrow.

                                       two hands shaking
We strive to develop a strong home/school partnership. Our parents and guardians are always welcome to visit, volunteer and actively participate in our school.  Don't forget that this year our school system has adopted a uniform for our students.  Our shirt colors this year are white, navy, burgundy, yellow, pink, and light blue while the bottoms should be khaki (tan, navy or black).    All students are required to wear a belt if there are belt loops on the pants or skirt.  Students should be dressing in Standard School Attire, SSA (uniform), every day of school.  Students are expected to dress in SSA daily to ensure that everyone is consistently prepared for daily classroom instruction.
